Color and Space: Katharina mentions that she isn't afraid to use color in her artwork. She purposely includes these vibrant colors in such dull spaces to go against the materialized world.

Movement and Rhythm: By using these fast motions and repeating patterns, Katharina is able to replicate her thoughts that she is unable to form into words, into art. 

A Few Of My Favorite Things

 

1. Headphones: I wear these everyday and I love listening to music when i'm walking around campus.

2. Old shoe: Ive had these white converse for over four years and I have walked through many flooded puddles with them on. They look super gross but they are so comfortable.

3. Rings: I wear these rings everyday, one of them I bought online and the other is a class ring. 

4. Film camera: Whenever I shoot film I always take super long to bring it to CVS to get it developed. I never want to pay the $15.

5. Pen: One of my favorite pens because it doesn't get caught on thick card stock, I hate ballpoint pens.
